This reminds me of a book called 'THE EASTER EGG TREE' which has great illustrations. We were only tiny (1950's) and only shared it at Easter. Instead of sugar eggs it features Ukranian egg designs discovered in a dusty attic in an old tin box.
I had not heard of Treasure Books until now. Perhaps I had always confused them with Little Golden Books. Very nice.
