The art is adorable, but I have to say that this story is predicated on a falsehood. Ferris wheels? Carousels? Fun houses? Isn't that more of a toy carnival than a toy circus?

Interesting theroy but you also have to keep in mind that this book was written in the 1950's and some traveling circus's were very elaborate including low budget Fun house's and on occasion small carousels.
Thanks for Looking & for your comment!
