Thanks I'm so glad you liked it! I was worried people would be turned off by the relgious aspect and almost didn't post the book but it really is amazing work by the provensens I thought everyone should be able to see.
Haha its your favorite thats a high compliment, I love YOUR work!

I've loved this book as a child and had to hunt it down as an adult. Alice and Martin Provensen out did themselves on this one. Thanks for the great scans!

The Provensons were remarkable! I think I only discovered them in library school--I can't believe my mother didn't buy some of their books for us, as she had very good taste in illustration ... . So glad to be introduced to the ones you have posted; what a treasure!
