I found your blog a couple of weeks ago while I was searching for J.P. Miller and early Richard Scarry illustrations. Your blog is fantastic! I am such a fan of all these old Little Goldens and I've been one ever since I read my mom's old copy of "Lucky Mrs. Ticklefeather" as a child. thanks for scanning these books in their entirety because it's getting more and more expensive to buy these secondhand, unless you stumble over them in little bookshops that don't care about "collector" value. I can't wait to see this new Richard Scarry book- it looks so beautiful!! And thanks for your work. Keep it up!

OK...this is one that I had as a child. Had being the operative word of course. It has long since disappeared, I imagine my parents gave it away when my brother and I both 'outgrew' it, in fact that was the fate of all the dozens and dozens that we used to have. Unfortunately I didn't 'learn' anything from that, and gave away all of the (literally hundreds) I had purchased for my own daughter when she 'outgrew' them as well. It's sad that we can't 'go back' and change those things.
