hi-- do you know what exactly it means when it says "adapted by" campbell grant? does that simply mean that he took animated characters as drawn by others and then drew them as static?

does this mean that none of his disney work was original?

thanks.

Hi Lotusgreen,
I'm not sure I fully understand your question but I believe Campbell Grant did the all art for this book but of course the character's are owned by Disney which rarely states "Illustrated by" on their childrens books but insteads lists the artist as "adapting" the images from the film characters. Disney is notorious for giving little name credit to its artists and instead prefers to list art from "Walt Disney Studios" therefore furthering the brand but hindering the artist in the process.
Hope this helped.
